Built around your wall

  • Your measurements

    Every shelf from 30 to 120 cm wide and 15 to 40 cm deep, in 1 cm steps. Up to 12 shelves on one wall.

  • Solid oak

    Boards of [origin of the oak] oak, 27 or 40 mm thick, oiled to bring out the grain.

  • Nothing in sight

    Steel rods fixed in the wall slide into holes in the back of each shelf, so the shelf seems to float.

  • Made after you order

    We hold no stock and start when you order. Your shelves are ready to ship in about 3 weeks.

How it works

    Design

    Add shelves, set their size, and drag them into place on the wall. The price, VAT included, updates with every change.

  2. 2

    We make them

    Your design reaches our workshop as a cut list. We cut each board, drill the rod holes, soften the edges and oil the wood.

  3. 3

    Mount

    Your shelves arrive with the rods, [wall fixings in the box] and a mounting guide. Fix the rods in the wall, then slide each shelf on.

Oak and oil

Oak is hard, stable and ages well: its colour turns warmer over the years. We use [origin of the oak] oak from [timber supplier] and finish it with [oil product], a hardwax oil that protects against water and stains and leaves the surface matte.

How long does it take?

We make every order after you place it. Your shelves are ready to ship in about 3 weeks, and [carrier] delivers them within [transit time].

What does delivery cost?

It depends on how many parcels your shelves need and how heavy they are. You see the exact cost at checkout, before you pay; the price per parcel is on the delivery page.

Which walls are suitable?

How much can a shelf hold?

Up to [load per shelf] per shelf, spread evenly, on a suitable wall and mounted as the guide describes.

Can I return my shelves?

We make them to your measurements, so the statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases doesn't apply (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB). If a shelf arrives damaged or has a defect, your statutory warranty rights apply: write to us with your order number and a photo.
